Two Weber Brothers Tops for Utah


Weber State Football football fans should be happy this morning. Two lineman were picked in the NFL draft over the weekend. Paul McQuinstan was drafted by Oakland at 69, and Pat McQuinstan was drafted by Dallas at 211. This is funny, because these two lineman went higher than any other player from a Utah college. So, if you are a Weber fan, take today and savor it, because today you are the top dog in a state where you usually get, at best, no attention.

Besides the state factor, Paul McQuinstan was also the highest player taken out of the Big Sky Conference. I don't know if this says a lot about the direction Weber is moving in, or that we just got lucky, but Wildcat fans should be proud for a day or two. Now if they can just turn good players into success on the field...
