Bears Conclude Spring Season

I'm a couple days late on this one, but here it is nonetheless. Saturday afternoon, the Blue team proved to be too much for their White opponent as they eeked out a 14-10 victory. Redshirt freshman running back Patrick Ealy led all offensive players with 100 yards on 8 attempts with one score. Ealy also hauled in 4 receptions for 13 yards and a TD. He was the lone offensive highlight on a defensively dominated game, as White's lone TD was a 55 yard interception return by CB Jeromy Jones. It looks like Andre Wilson (who had a 47 yard dash) and Ealy will be battling for the starting RB spot. Overall there were 3 interceptions and 2 lost fumbles.

The Bears host UC Davis Sept. 2 to kick off their first season in the Big Sky.
