Viks Conclude First Week Of Practice

Portland State finished up their first week of practice, and all eyes have been on the lines. Transfers Dave Howell (Miami-FL) and CJ Niusulu (UCLA) add depth to an already veteran defensive line. Coach Walsh feels "We have ten guys on the d-line who can play on a high level in the Big Sky," Walsh said. "At the end of spring, if we can block those guys, we are going to be pretty good."

Portland State practices three more weeks this spring, 12 practices in all, ending in the annual spring game on Saturday, May 13. The game will take place at Gresham High School at 6 p.m.
